SLOW BLACKWAVE VOLTAGE EMERGES FROM THE FRENCH UNDERGROUND WITH THEIR DEBUT ALBUM “ELECTRIC GLASS”

Paris, France — November 2025 — France’s newest indie art-school rock phenomenon, Slow Blackwave Voltage, announces the release of their debut album, Electric Glass, an immersive, cinematic exploration of tension, texture, and modern alienation.

Formed in the creative crucible of Paris’s left-bank studio scene, the five-piece band blends minimalist composition, noir-pop atmosphere, and analog grit into a sound that feels both intimate and electrified. With their dark palette, understated confidence, and hypnotic stage presence, Slow Blackwave Voltage has already become a cult favorite among France’s design-school and gallery crowds. Now they’re ready to take it global.

A Sound Between Static and Silence

Electric Glass is a study in contrast, shimmering synths meet reverb-washed guitars, whispered vocals cut through deep basslines, and moments of silence stretch just long enough to feel dangerous. Produced by the band themselves in an abandoned textile warehouse outside Marseille, the album drifts between moods of melancholic beauty and mechanical pulse.

Tracks like “Mirrors Sleep,” “Voltage Bloom,” and “Frostlight Skin” channel the emotional clarity of post-punk and the sonic experimentation of dream pop, while the closing track “Les Lignes Ne Bougent Pas” captures the stillness of a neon-lit night in Paris.

Art Meets Noise

True to their name, Slow Blackwave Voltage exists at the intersection of art and sound, performing in galleries, collaborating with digital artists, and using analog film projections during live shows. Their aesthetic is defined by restraint and mystery: a world of monochrome visuals, handwritten lyrics, and half-lit stages.
